Steping down as chair of CajunJUG

Everyone,
It has been a pleasure serving as chair of this wonderful group. I have enjoyed my time working to help and support the Java community in New Orleans. I have taken a new job in Atlanta. I know you all will continue to support the group and help it grow.

That being said Joey Moreland has taken over my spot as Co-Chair of the group. I know I have left the group in capable hands.

I thank everyone for there support and hope you all give that same support to Joey.

Remember the Java Road Trip arrives in New Orleans on the 10th of July. The next meeting of the group will be on the 15th

Sincerely,
Alley

We will post future meetings on this mailing list and on www.codetown.us
as Events once we get them planned. It was with great sorrow that we
said goodbye to Allan Davis as he stepped down from his position as
founder and co-chairman of this group. He did such a great job and we
will miss him. But, he's not far away in Atlanta, so we hope he'll
drop in here and let us know what's up from time to time. Joey
Moreland and I will do our very best to bring you interesting
presentations and networking opportunities in N'awlins.

Right now, I am in Brazzaville, Congo about to give a presentation on
Web2.0 and Java. http://jcertif.drupalcafe.com/node/1

Are any of you going to JavaOne this year? If so, I will see you
there.

After Java One, I plan to do a Swampcast with Craig Newmark of
Craigslist while I am in the Bay Area. Wikipedia's Brion Vibber and
the guys at Pandora were hard acts to follow up. Check out the podcast
at http://www.swampcast.com and on iTunes!

If you have ideas about presentations or topics, please contact me. I
suggest all of you join Codetown, which is a social network I started
for coders. It's like a Facebook for software developers! http://www.codetown.us

All the best,

Mike Levin
